DANCE
As a dancer and teacher, I share my passion for two African American dances that defined an era: Lindy Hop and Vernacular Jazz. Born in Harlem, New York, in the 1920s and 30s, these dances were a vibrant expression of freedom, community, and creativity, and they continue to thrive on dance floors around the world today.
Lindy Hop is a social dance that flourished in the legendary Savoy Ballroom, where the energy of swing music blended with improvisation, playfulness, and the connection between partners. Solo Jazz, on the other hand, is a solo dance full of rhythm, musicality, and a dialogue with the jazz tradition, where each body becomes an expressive instrument.
I draw inspiration from great historical figures like Josephine Baker, Al Minns, and Norma Miller, pioneers who paved the way with their talent and charisma. I also admire the work of contemporary artists such as LaTasha Barnes and Tyedic Hill, and I've been fortunate to train with international figures like Felix Berghäll and Helena Kanini.
I am currently a teacher at:

In addition, I am part of the company Volando Voy Danzando Vengo (VVDV), with which I participate in shows and events, bringing swing and jazz to different stages and sharing the contagious joy of this music and its dance.
